What do people hope/think will be presented here? I'm hoping for iTunes movie rentals and a MacBook Air.

My hubby has a shiny platinum coloured PowerBookG4 and I have a little white MacBook which is why the word 'Macworld' caught my eye. However, I hve absolutely no idea what either the title of this thread or your post actually mean.

Could you please indulge this poor granny and explain? Thank you!

Macworld is a Mac conference in San Francisco. One of the highlights is that at the start Steve Jobs makes a speech and usually introduces some new products.

iTunes movie rental--a system that would allow people to rent movies over the Internet
MacBook air--a rumored ultra-thin computer that might be introduced at Macworld.
