Well, I've been over there a few times and they are now in the middle of some rather nasty wrangling over "the rules", especially with regard to the Politics/Religion forum.
A close friend of mine recently got banned and he can't get any sense out of the mod who banned him after a half-hearted public warning. There are people who put up provocative threads and then get upset if anybody dares to refute them.
3 or 4 mods for a site with 19000+ members is just plain ludicrous but the reason I was given was that if they had any more, there would be too many ego clashes.
The mod who banned my friend is someone I could not respect pretty much from the start. He does not seem fit to be a mod because he is too biased and inconsistent and the power seems to have gone to his head.
They have had some really good mods but I don't know what's happened with most of them.
It has occurred to me recently that certain of the rules over there are framed in such a way as to suit a way of thinking that is often quite diametrically opposed to how most aspies operate. We are not anti-rules but anything that seems illogical, capricious, or internally inconsistent will be a challenge to follow.
I don't think WP has the same brief as AFF to be a support site - it is more of a discussion site. This is not bad in itself but it is something to be aware of.
