It is a parody site. Their disclaimer states "The articles in this parody of an encyclopedia explain things in a funny and not necessarily correct way." Maybe you don't think their humour is funny but you don't have to visit that site. It is not meant to be informative or educational. Making fun of people with autism or physical disabilities should be in bad taste.
Don't waste your time with a petition against it.
I agree with M. You won't get very far petitioning against a large comedy site. They don't have serious malicious against us, there just being a comedy site. Some of what they did was ***hole-ish, but people are like that.
If you don't like something, then ignore it.

I signed the petition. I do agree it's important to get rid of this stuff on the web. However, it's clear just from looking around Encyclopedia Dramatica, it's little more than immature drivel from NT teenage boys.

Dramatica has been used to bully individuals. I think it has attracted alot of stuff that should really be taken off the web.
Yeah, they say it's all about humor, but it doesn't strike me as good-natured lampooning of everyone. I mean, Weird Al lampoons everyone and you can tell he doesn't mean anything bad by it. But that place seems more like those high school cliques of girls whispering behind their hands and giggling at anyone who is different. A lot of it is bullying masquerading as "all in good fun".

i noticed that their "ni%#er" page was removed and redirected. it was only replaced by a "nigga" page. but i wonder what happened, maybe the aclu got a whif? they have jew and spic pages too. i thought that kinda isht was illegal. ill bet we could actually get some of that crap removed if we joined forces with minorities and religous groups. the problem is, it would only give them the attention that they want. i think its best to just ignore them. the more we fight it the stronger they get.

i too was initally very upset about their aspergers page, but after much research on this type of bandwidth attack, ive decided that its a bad idea for several reasons...
A) its apparently illegal to try and slashdot them
B) it probably wont work
C) it actually makes their site look more popular, giving them more money from advertisers. it gives them MORE attention.
D) its what they want you to do. trust me they are ready for it.
E) it could actually give us a bad reputation as troublemakers.
i have talked to several web devlopers about this, they all argee on these 5 points.
id recomend doing one of the following things instead.
A) call al sharpton and a civil rights lawyer and begin the long drawn out, and probably unsucessull legal action.
B) ignore their website. if you let the trolls get to you, they win. look at it this way...if nobody looks at their pathetic excuse for a website, then what damage can they do? noone gets offended. noone pays for advertizing. and they end up paying for the site out of their own pocket.
besides, anyone that believes any of that bullisht on their site is a total fu*&ing moron. i seriously doubt their page about us is going to harm our mission here.
please flardox, i beg you, spend your time doing something more constructive.
