AS is (or was, it seem to be becoming less so) a popular "look at meee!!" condition, as was ADHD a few years back.
we have had a few like that come through here, some false, and some genuine.Some couldnt deal with it, mostly the fakers; those who could...well, EvilZakkie, the moderator? i remember when he joined, he was very immature, and look at him now! you wouldnt believe its the same person!

i do understand where you are coming from though, the amount of times i am reading internet drama, and the "victim" pulls out an AS diagnosis is quite staggering.

but i can assure you, that most of us are genuine aspies.

I still stand by the things I said back then, and I guess everyone else will just have to draw their own conclusions about whether or not they were "immature".

flardox; I will repeat what i have said in PMs and MSN; just ignore the site. it is a bit of childish fun, and is really harmless. anyone who takes it for fact, shouldnt be allowed in the genepool. (oh, the hypocracy...). if you draw attention to it, you make things worse by making it seem accurate, especially in the way that this has carried on to now.

in some regards, this can be true; however, in so many others, it is not.

Aspies are merely different to NT's. its linux for the brain; not better, or worse, just...different.
