Who here has a deep affinity for Paul Verehoven 80s and early 90s movies? I have very happy childhood memories of Total Recall and Robocop. I discovered Starship Troopers when I was about 20 and equally love that movie.
A guy mate and I recently had a night in where all we did was have an Arnie night - Terminator 1, 2 and 3 (yawn... although Kristanna Loken makes it slightly more bearable...ok if I wasn't a Terminator devotee I'd only watch it for her in that outfit) and then Total Recall. I mean how GOOD are the Terminator movies??? I know its not Verehoven but still, on the 80s futuristic blockbuster topic, you cannot ignore Terminator. I used to envy John Connor, having a cyborg for a friend...sigh
