I'm a student at Strathclyde Uni trying to set up a society within our union for those on the spectrum. If you're interested then please either respond here or PM me.

Even if you're not at Strathy, it would be nice to hear from other Scottish Aspies... as Glasgow feels like the worst place to live when you hate people sometimes!!!! Wink

Excellent idea, ocampa. Scottish Health Authorities tend to be a bit lackadaisical when it comes to helping people on the Autistic Spectrum.

I get a bit apprehensive when I,m among large groups of people, but I'd make an effort to turn up to a support group.

A forum/chatroom for Scots Aspies would be good too.

Have you been to the ARC in Maryhill?

Yes, I do. I have been attending the drama group. Got a meeting this week with Graham to see about joining other groups. Do you also attend, Ocampo?

CaledoniaCool

As Spike Milligan, once said, : " It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it! "
I took the liberty of reading your blog, ocampo, as I,m quite nosey. I found It was very well written and thought provoking. If I could express my thoughts into words, half as good as you, I would be a very happy man.
