I just took the systemizing test and got a weirdly low score. The reason that it's weird is that I usually think of myself as being pretty systemizing(i.e.I write computer programs, develop ciphers, and can usually figure out electrical problems in devices). Has anyone else gotten this kind of anomalous result?
The test is highly biased towards stereotypical "male interests" like computers, etc, based on the author's concept that the systemizing brain is inherently male (or vice versa). I got an extremely low systemizing score when I took it because of this. I have never been particularly interested in computers or other things like them. I am, however, extremely interested in the natural world and in psychology, and I approach both of these from a systemizing style. I even approach fiction/fantasy in a systemic way. However, these were not really shown on the test, so I got a completley inaccurate score.
I also got a really low empathy quotient, so taking the two scores together, according to the test I am neither an NT nor an autistic, I am just crazy weird.

If you want a really comprehensive and more accurate test, I suggest you try the Autism Characteristics Test (ACT):
http://www.enigma2u.dircon.co.uk/ACT/ACTframes.html
They break up your scores by category (socialization, cognition, behavior, etc) so it's much more representative of your real personality than other tests are.
According to the ACT I have almost normal socialization (which I already knew) but extremely autistic cognition and medium-autistic behavior. It's really interesting.
(btw, based partly on these scores I now consider myself to be either an autistic cousin or an atypical autistic)
I scored 10 each on systemizing and empathizing. Perhaps my brain is neuter!
The systems on that test were/are mostly of no interest to me. In reality I'm more of a systemizer than the results would suggest--so, yeah, in answer to the question.

That was an awesome test (and surprisingly very old). I was impressed.
Yeah, I agree, that was an interesting test.
Overall 40.94%
Communication 40.48%
Cognitive 55.81%
Perception 41.98%
Behaviour 28.42%
Social 38%
I do a lot better socially now than when I was growing up. Growing older and gaining experience have much to contribute.
I completed that test, but when I got to the final screen the "Results" section was blank. I wonder what that means.

Wow, energeia, I scored a 75% in cognitive- I guess I think more autistic-ly than you do!
That surprises me. Of course, I also got a 20% for social, which is closer to normal.... I'm just unusual, then.
We are all, each and every one of us, unusual. Ain't it grand?
(I have no real clue what my scores mean or why I scored "highest" in cognitive.)
I got:
Overall 44.17%
Communication 46.43%
Cognitive 60.47%
Perception 39.51%
Behaviour 35.79%
Social 38.67%
I'm not sure how accurate this was though--a lot of the questions didn't really "match" the possible answers
That's strange- I took the test again today, twice, and both times came out with very similar numbers that were quite different from my original scores.
Overall: 43.85%
Communication: 30.95%
Cognitive: 61.63%
Perception: 51.85%
Behavior: 36.84%
Social: 38%
The first time, my social score was 20% and my cognitive was 75%. I don't remember what the others were.
Thanks for the link Luai_lashire.
Overall........61.53%
Communication..35.71%
Cognitive......72.09%
Perception.....75.31%
Behaviour......57.89%
Social.........66.67%
Oh well. I keep taking these different tests that people put links to and keep getting these sorts of results. Even though I suppose I
could cheat* I am simply unable to answer other than honestly.
*(to get a more 'NT' score to show that I have learnt a lot in 50 years?

)
I just took it again...

Oh, sorry didn't see your graphic(tor kind of sucks sometimes)
