i've received cash, and my little sister gave me a good book.
i'm not sure how to use the money yet. i need some clothes, because i can't use last winter's, so maybe i'll get a few.
if i can spare some time (and i probably can) i'll go to a park on good-weather days and read through the book soon.
Here in the Netherlands we mostly do 'big presents' with "Sinterklaas" and at home we buy little presents for each other. I got earrings, a chocolate christmasornament, a magazine and a scarf from my little brother.

My son sent me a snorkel, mask and fins...
He is a Navy Diver and I took him on his first open ocean swim a few years ago.
When he called I mentioned they came but that my pool has ice on it so I'll wait till spring to try them.
It brightened my day tho'...this was the first holidays with both kids gone.
My daughter is now 18 so she is visiting friends...
It was quiet here but the you all kept me company.

I don't like milk chocolate or white 'chocolate' much, but I love the high-coaco dark chocolate, very good for you too, so long as one doesn't pig out, which usually ends up happening when I get my hands on any.
Or melted with cream and milk and sugar, and some instant hot chocolate mix, with finely powdered hashish cooked in, to make space-hot chocolate

I got an electric pita pocket maker from my ex-girlfriend and her mom (ex says I forgot a Christmas stocking too), and a piece of abstract art ("Let's Meet Together" or something) by my most recent date (22 December 2007). There was also a teddy bear from Hayley at the singles group on 30 November, too.
I was not expecting any thing from my dork brother so that was OK. I bet he doesn't do Christmas.
I got a new mp3 player (well I asked for it so does it really count? lol), a diary, a Mushroom teddy from Super Mario Galaxy (because I laugh for ages at their voices), a new pair of boots that I love, a dressing gown, a lot of nice smellies from Lush, things for my car oh and a bottle of Baileys and 3 bottles of wine...I think someone is trying to tell me something...
