Nuclear Weapons certainly make the world more dangerous,......but in a
way they also make it a Lot More Exciting(than if they didnt exist).
I really don't think that this can be classified as being an epiphany.
^ OMG Ando you just made me CRACK UP laughing... a rather large feet. I'm still giggling actually.
If the word "exciting" in your mind includes the possibility of nuclear winter... than sure its the most "exciting" thing that ever happened to modern man!
Tong_Durai - I think I would opt for no nuclear weapons and a less exciting life.

The real question is why did Dick Cheney choose the screen name "Tong_Duurai"?
Your name interests me Tong_Duurai - what nationality is it?
Thanks for explaining

It is an interesting name.
I am american, but "Tong Duurai" is a sacred place in Eastern Siberia. The placename is of Yakut origin and Im not sure quite what it means. North Korea certainly is cause for concern, but not panic just yet. Their nuclear program has been halted for the moment.
I hope you do not live up to the name in any sense!
According to the various paranormal investigation sites on the web, Tong Duurai means 'criminal stranger'.
Nukes has probably increased the fear from war.
I'd be even more worried about germ or virus bombs myself.
At least with nukes, it won't increase in destruction over time, bioweaopons aren't controllable, chemical weapons are more my things.
I feel that the world was actually safer during the Cold War.
No Terrorist boys fucked about with the USSR and Nato breathing down the worlds collar ;p

Oh, come ON Ian - have you forgotten all your late-twentieth-century history?
No wars for oil, no ragheads getting ideas ABOVE THEIR STATION.
