Actually, most people I know are more curious than judgeing when it comes to mental disorders. They want to know stuff and usually get very impressed if you come out and explain your own diagnoses. That is, if you do it in a fair way. Blaming ones issues on a diagnoses isn't the right way, people must take responsability for their actions.
I'm afraid you've got it all wrong, in regards to autism. Many of us cannot "fake normal" and therefore blaming ourselves for our "odd behavior" is not the right thing to do, either.

There needed to be a word that simply meant "not on the Autistic Spectrum" -- there was no such word, so the rhetorical vacuum was filled by the misleading term "neurotypical." (There are plenty of ways besides AS to be "atypical." But such is the evolution of language -- when there is a linguistic need, some word is called upon to carry the burden, even if it's the wrong word.

Um, I don't know. We had to go metric in 1972 but I usually have to convert the metric back into imperial figures to visualise what they measure. If you're just a bit taller than me, I can imagine you would be quite plump.
