Hello, I need to know the scientiffic Asperger type that I am labeled as.

Basicly I can say that my Asperger's is extremely simular to Isabel's in the film Mozart and The Whale.

Very into Art, emotions are extreme (happiness, anger, saddness, etc.), falls in love very quickly without seeing that the other's responce or signs, very sensitive or sences, When happy can act very silly and spontaneous and yerning for wild fun, strong inner child, afriad to speak to certain kinds of people (includes serious, angry people).

My parents just tell me that everyone is different, (all this vage / general stuff) but I feel that there is a scientiffic truth to all this. There might me actual types. As certain personalities tie into their weaknesses. I feel that these aren't stereotypes but versions of Asperger's.

I have Asperger's Sydrome is such a vage / general term.

I looked on the YouTube video about the different Asperger Types, but I feel that certain types can go into detail.

I'm trying to find my kind of Asperger's so I have a knollege of what I'm looking for future friends and possibly a future soul mate.

Welcome Ericc!!

I wish I could help, but I believe that the 'scientific' classification does not exist, and is pure speculation. We all fit into different 'types' as we grow, add experience and skills and find differet special interests.

Our character evolves within our lifetimes and no one label can possibly fit for ever.

You do not need a precise 'type label' to define you - you can be whoever you want to be! Cool

I think the problem is that when you start going into detail, it starts being more and more incorrect - to get any sort of real detail, you'd have to go into so many types that it would be unrealistic to know them all.

There are some definites that you can associate with Aspergers - special interests, social processing issues, etc, but it can never be a description of a persons entire personality.

If you need to describe yourself more accurately, use multiple labels, rather than just aspergers. For example, from what you've said above, your "type" would be an artistic, emotional, and spontaneous aspie.

Ooh, and I nearly forgot - Welcome aboard! *grins*
Aspie is aspie.  The symptoms are different for everyone.  Did you just discover your AS?.  I discovered mine about a year ago and I still have not figured myself out... and probably never will.  Welcome!  Smile
There are lots of artsy aspies here, actually! I'm one! Part of what drew me to A
There is a theory that there are two types of people, creative thinkers and logical thinkers. Creative thinkers are only about ten-to-twenty percent of the population. I've noticed they tend to hang around each other a lot.

Maybe all the Aspies you know are logical thinkers, so that is why you feel different. The emotional things you mentioned might tie into creativity, as evoking certain emotions in other people is the point of art, anyway.
I like to tap my fingers alot because I have Asperger Syndrome.

I have green eyes because I am human.

Balderdash.

I think it's a bit higher than 10-20% of the population.

Let's take a survey. >Big Grin

No, I dunno. It's at least ten-twenty percent of my science class...
Does it matter!

But one thing is for sure, aspies think one way and NTs another and our wires continue to cross.

Andy Kaufman had your "subtype" of Asperger's, I have become increasingly more and more certain of it--the more I read about him.

I am also in this subtype--I'm quite sure.

LOL, nice Dark humor there. LOL Wink

Ericc, you keep asking for Aspies in your subtype, and I can't count how many times I said I have your type.  All except for social spontaneity, which I am not capable of at all.
