EVE Online. there are Mac and Linux versions avalible, and there is a 14 day free trial. you can also use ingame currency (ISK) to pay for your subscription post that. its £8 a month, but £19.95 for the first month.

if you ever played outwar, its a bit like that. some (very little) animation, mostly text and static pictures, heavy use of Flash.
