I mean, it happened because it was not free enough... it was manipulated by the Fed. They gave out lots of extra loans to banks and flooded the market, then cut the money supply... There were some nasty types behind it at the time who were deeply involved in the stock market. It is the ultimate in insider trading. They bought whole companies for pennies on the dollar.

"getting along like a house on fire" means to get on with someone really well.

strange as I don't think it is not really good when a house is on fire but hey that's NT's and their metaphors for you!!

Lloyd- i have no idea where Ian is, i am posting from a PSP, so i didnt notice his absence. (bloody burnt out GPU, have to wait for replacement...*grumble* hard to type on a PSP....)
