Mine is Picasso as well, and I have liked what I've seen of Henri Matisse. I'm not actually that knowledgeable when it comes to art, but I know what I like when I see it. Smile

I'm like that aswell

Is there anything in particular you like about picasso? for me it's the colours and abstract shapes Smile

?!?!?!

is this

(a) spam?
or
(b) an art style?

he lists one of his interests as trolling - best ignored.
I tend to love the work of the dutch painters such as Rembrandt - because it gives me a glimpse of history.

ok then didn't know what to think of It Smile

should I report it or juts leave it be completeley?

i'm not sure.

do you have a favourite piece of work by Picasso?
Hokusai, i've got one of his on my bedroom wall.

"Tidal wave off the coast of Kanagawa."
I really like drawnings from Escher, I can look at those very long Smile My favourite art style is realism, I think.

And about Kosmonaut's comment, I looked it up and I think he means a norwegian painter... At least, that's possible.

Edvard Munch... the painter of 'The Scream' and several others, but not as notable. The Pre-modernist bunch is really amazing, how they set up the future of art... amazing. Smile

At was/is (?) a special interest, so here are a few of my favorites:

1. Frida Kahlo (what kind of chick art-lover would I be if I didn't put her down?)
2. joan miro  (so much fun)
3. Morris Louis
4. Mark Rothko
5. Barbara Kruger (again with the feminism. Smile  )

Should tell you some things about me...

"Edvard Munch... the painter of 'The Scream' and several others, but not as notable."

Hrmph!

I only mean that most people, even those that don't follow art, know of 'The Scream'... not that his other pieces are not as good. I actually REALLY like Munch, a lot of his other works are really great! His life story is really sad, and his artwork portrays that overwhelming sadness and expression so well.

Sorry if I came across the wrong way, Erkolos!

I like Roelant Savery and Baroque art in general.
Well I'll say I know what I like, although no-one particularly springs to mind. Guess I'm just not that academic when it comes to art and artists. Shy
