They did what?! Those themes are absolutely crucial to the books, and so are the last chapters of the first book--but then again, they kind of leave you hanging, so perhaps they'd like to avoid making two more expensive films. But that is no excuse. The themes make or break these books; remove them, and you take away the point. It's a kind of sequel to Paradise Lost, damn it! How in the world can you not include heavy themes in something like that?
I don't know about you, but I don't like these books just because they have badass polar bears in them. Quite the opposite.
By the way, how do you know?
Well, now my expectations have been lowered, but then again, I probably won't get to see it before it comes out on DVD, because the local cinema is to ridiculously under-prioritized that it premieres movies that are due for release on DVD at the same time
Modest, solitary, inquisitive, softly spoken and responsible.
You are therefore matched with the Crow Daemon.
Nithreus is a male Daemon ... yadda yadda.
And what kind of creature? Do tell.....
And I'm glad Flardox got a gibbon - I was wondering out looud with my twins whether anyone would get an ape or a monkey!

Emmy, the curiosity is driving me insane! Please, what kind of creature is Eamon? A bird? Mammal? Dragon? Help!
Oh,it looked like a panter or tiger or something similar...but it was grey/whitish...

a Siberian white?

Here it is

Oh my!
You poor thing! I now realise just how weird I am. I read at the rate of about a page a minute. I can finish a book (or more) an evening. However, at the end of it, having thoroughly enjoyed being completely immersed in the experience, I start to 'lose the plot', literally. Within a few days I have forgotten the names of most of the characters. Within a year I can re-read a book and I will recognise it as I read, but won't remember what happens next.
Seriously fast processing, rotten long term memory. Rather like a palm top.....
sounds familiar....but i remember what happens next..
and i get closer to a page every 20-30 seconds.

Ditto - it's great, but it's sometimes annoying having to carry two or three books around at a time for train trips.
With me, the memory thing varies from book to book. I can barely remember "Black House" despite having only just finished it, but I could outline the entire plot of Imajica in a heartbeat...
Modest, solitary, inquisitive, responsible & humble....
