What does the winnar get ?
Sounds abit like PosAutive.
To get raped by space aliens
All you need for that experience is some strong Salvia divinorum extract....all the space alien rape one could ever desire Big Grin
I reckon me and Ian could go into comedy together, as agonist and antagonist, we could play off each other no end I'm sure (not in that way, sorry people, not gonna happen.
True comedy is spur of the moment.

As the "to get raped by space aliens" comment was, it literally just popped into my mind.

Alpha Centari is the nearest star to us

I'm not the least bit sorry about pointing out that Alpha Centauri is not the nearest to earth star. The nearest is only 8½ light minutes away; Sun, they call it.

Now, what I want to know is; does this post make me Aspie of the week?

When I first heard about Alpha Centauri I sort of got the impression that Beta Centauri is closer to Earth. Sun or Sol; I know that the word for Sun is Sol, though only in Danish + Swedish (I guess it's the same in Norwegian too, but I'm not 100% sure).
That's right!

I thought Alpha Centauri also was this old sci-fi video game or something.
After an attempt at chewing at this most recent shoe, I fled to Wikipedia and found solace to my pain.

Alpha Centauri isn't even a star; it's a system of three stars that due to its brightness only appears to be one.

The closest of these three are Proxima C; 4.22 lightyears away. I didn't take down this last piece of fact. I think this Proxima C is a red dwarf...

I'll soon be back with additional info (or ichtms'ish associations I suspect would be a more correct definition...)
Quite liked the nerve stapling ;p

I normally played as the Businessman
There was once a Swiss writer by the name of Friedrich Dürrenmatt (1921-1990) that wrote an odd little novel that, when I just now searched for info on the same, found to be described as an essay. Its original title is "Der Winterkrieg in Tibet" and a translation of it can be found in a volume called "Selected Writings 3". It's a fantasy of a third world war waged in a vast subterranean labyrinth.

The shoe is my own confusing (even to me) way of stating that I've managed to say something in the wrong place. I don't know what I'm on about...
Or the University ;p

I never played as the hippies, the church or the UN ;p

Of course the way I played I could prob make any faction in that game into a Capitalist Dictatorship ;p

Sol it is,even here...

Sol is Latin for "Sun", Luna for "Moon", and Terra for "Earth"
-- or Orbs Orbis for "World" which is strange since centuries later medieval people were certain that the world was flat.

Solar, Lunar, Lunatic, Mediterranean....

Why am I suddenly getting deja vu, like we've had a very similar -- if not identical -- discussion before??

Alpha Centauri would be part of Sagittarius, I'm guessing because it makes sense...
