Make no mistake about it. The agenda of groups like CAN and NAAR is to find enough genetic information so that pre-emptive abortion will reduce our future numbers dramatically. This already has happened with Down's Syndrome. Even now, NAAR offers to provide "genetic counseling."

To me, the most ironic, disgustingly hypocritical feature of this is that the founders and leaders of CAN and NAAR, as jews, should know better than to support such genetic cleansing!!

                                Jerry Newport
My observations are quite real. It is a big stretch to twist what I fear into imagining some re-enactment of the holocaust for our peers. If enough abortions are performed someday to prevent our kind from being born, a holocaust like that in the forties won't be necessary.

I can do this much about it:  Eventually, when my movie comes out, I can ( and I will ) tell the producers that personally, I don't want CAN or NAAR using it to raise money via some premier-related event. I can't tell the film's investors what to do but I can certainly tell them how I feel and I can assure you that if they allow CAN or NAAR to host any event tied to my movie, I will not be there.

The movie is about showing autism and aspergers in a much bigger, realistic and positive way than ever before. There is no way that it should be exploited by groups who are dedicated to our eventual extermination.

[quote="TheASman"]Beginning Jan. 1, health care providers who determine a West Virginia resident has autism or a related disorder must report the patient's name, diagnosis, symptoms and related conditions to the registry at Marshall University's Autism Training Center. Even physicians in other states must report on West Virginia residents they diagnose.

That pretty much means the entire state may wind up in the registry. OJ Simpson wanted to move to that state because everybody has the same DNA.

Oh, congratulations, Amy. I see you have made 1,728 posts as of now. That is twelve cubed and your next, 1729, is the smallest positive integer that is the sum of two cubes of integers in two different ways. 1729 is the sum of the cubes of 12 and one and also of the cubes of ten and nine.

                       Jerry Newport
This is outrageous!

I would not have believed something like the West Virginia Austism Spectrum Disorders Registry could exist in the US, if I hadn't seen the doublespeak on its website myself.

If you haven't been there, check out  http://www.marshall.edu/wvasdr/default.asp

What's next? Shall we all wear yellow stars on our sleeves?  I'm probably just over-reacting (or am I?)

It might demonstrate the irony of the situation if we used the star of David as a protest sleeve symbol to protest a genetic campaign to exterminate us. After all, both "autism" or "autist" have six letters, one for each point in the star.

                                      Jerry Newport

If its true that autism is related to the genes that are most commonly found in engineers, scientists, mathmaticians...oh and lets not forget artists, authors, linguists etc...

Assuming some form of eugenics that excludes autistic genes from the genepool comes to pass--you'd have to wonder how many generations it would take before the human race was back in the forests scratching their hairy arses and pegging rocks at each other.

I'd give 'em about 10.

Further, if medical research type careers appeal mainly to spectrum shadowed people, does it take an autist to exterminate autists? Are there any medical researchers looking into what the results would be of killing off their own genotype/phenotype?

I hope someone 'in charge' has thought of these things. Who's in charge?

Drug companies seem to be in charge of most medical research. Do you think they would turn away profit for the long term good of mankind?

Hmmm. Let me think....

I won't bore you with any more of this. I'm just in a really bad mood, if this was too down beat, just ignore.

I've already beaten out all the rugs in my house this week, maybe I should start tearing down that fence slats that need resetting. Or get a punching bag.
Uschi, from what I've read *I'D* like to paint your husbands face on a punching bag too ROFL. You go, girl!
I've heard rumours that Tony Attwood is AS. I dunno if that's true, and I doubt he'd give up his career if it were.

In fact, I think it might be beneficial to his career.
sometimes...  Ugh.  some NTs just disgust me.

Completely OT, but YAYAYAY  I just got accepted to one of my top choice colleges!  WOOHOO!  IM ON TOP OF THE WO-  whats that?  final transcript required?  CRAP!!!  better get back to work...

One other thing...  I know that every other day someone is publishing that they have found the cause of Autism, but I think I can safely say that it will be a while before we have to worry about actual prenatal tests.  Autism is gentically complex, that is, there is no one single gene to find.  Many factors govern ASDs, and we dont have the slightest clue what most of them are.  witness the number of diferent clinical manifestations posible.
Hmmm.  I fear I can only speak with respect to the development of actual genetic predisposition tets, not fakes and the amateur genetic analysis of a few dumbass NTs.
Hi I'm pretty dang new, so I'll try not to blab too much to start...but its difficult!

About this subject. Hmmm. On the one hand, I want to say getting picked up and shipped off for AS is probably the least of your concerns. You'll be sold off down the river for slavery just because you're poor LONG before worrying about your genes.

I tell ya, this nation, I just don't get it. I really, really don't get how they can continue to ruin everything any of our forefathers lived and died for. We's peasants now, again.

No, they'll cart me off for my mouth long before my AS
Given what I see here, your mouth is very much dependant on your AS.

I assume you refer to the US, and I agree that we are headed dpwnhill. We have passed our perihelion as a nation, there is nowhere to go from here but downhill.  Damn republicans.

Ah, point! You have a point. Definitely. Though they won't care about the AS. It'll just be the mouth.

Ain't it the truth though? I swear, things have progressed badly since this last POST! Oh so sad, all this stuff the admin is doing.

This was an interesting article from a site I like. I found it to be quite sobering .

The Long Emergency

What's going to happen as we start running out of cheap gas to guzzle?

A few weeks ago, the price of oil ratcheted above fifty-five dollars a barrel, which is about twenty dollars a barrel more than a year ago. The next day, the oil story was buried on page six of the New York Times business section. Apparently, the price of oil is not considered significant news, even when it goes up five bucks a barrel in the span of ten days. That same day, the stock market shot up more than a hundred points because, CNN said, government data showed no signs of inflation. Note to clueless nation: Call planet Earth.

Carl Jung, one of the fathers of psychology, famously remarked that "people cannot stand too much reality." What you're about to read may challenge your assumptions about the kind of world we live in, and especially the kind of world into which events are propelling us. We are in for a rough ride through uncharted territory.

It has been very hard for Americans - lost in dark raptures of nonstop infotainment, recreational shopping and compulsive motoring - to make sense of the gathering forces that will fundamentally alter the terms of everyday life in our technological society. Even after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, America is still sleepwalking into the future. I call this coming time the Long Emergency.

Most immediately we face the end of the cheap-fossil-fuel era. It is no exaggeration to state that reliable supplies of cheap oil and natural gas underlie everything we identify as the necessities of modern life - not to mention all of its comforts and luxuries: central heating, air conditioning, cars, airplanes, electric lights, inexpensive clothing, recorded music, movies, hip-replacement surgery, national defense - you name it.

The few Americans who are even aware that there is a gathering global-energy predicament usually misunderstand the core of the argument. That argument states that we don't have to run out of oil to start having severe problems with industrial civilization and its dependent systems. We only have to slip over the all-time production peak and begin a slide down the arc of steady depletion.

Actually, if anyone is sleepwalking into the future, it is the nations who are selling their oil now and doing nothing to prepare for when their resources dry up. When that happens and oil is $100/barrel or more, the USA will just open up thousands of dormant wells in Texas and Oklahoma and sell back to the suckers they buy from now.

                               Jerry Newport
That isn't going to happen, certainly not soon.  It's the media's job to frighten people, and scare them into watching more news, about how Osama Bin Laden will infiltrate your house hidden in your groceries, and eat your family...   Never be afraid, never be scared, but never be complacent.  People have been waving 'the end of the world is nigh' signs for decades, it's never happened, and it wont happen without warning, and we've come closer than this, many times before.  Anyone remember when World War Three started?
