I think Nintendo is the best because they make heaps of games that all ages can play instead of making heaps of games for the older gamers like Microsoft and Sony.

and they do make games for older gamers but they also make games that over 4 people can play at the one time like wario ware smooth moves.
so everyone agrees with me!!!!!CoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCool

(Well no-one has disagreed Big Grin)

Actually, that's why I prefer the other systems over Nintendo. All of the games I have seen for the Wii look like their target audience is 5 - 8 year olds, so I don't get what the appeal is. Older gamers, such as those who began gaming on NES or Atari 5200 when they were new, now tend to prefer games designed for adults (hence the increase in the release of these types of games within the last 10 years or so).

I think Sony Is one of the better ones followed by Microsoft.Note Nintendo does not make my list.

I agree with you sony kicks a$$! Big Grin

Microsoft does hold the majority of PC gaming, and the Xbox 360 is a fairly solid system, not to mention cheaper than a PS3.

Sony dominated the PS1 generation with Final Fantasy and other hits, and did excellent with the PS2. The PS3, however, is just a bit too hard on the pocket for my tastes. The games are solid, and fresh, but the system is lacking in the flexibility of prices, depending on the system's specs.

I don't have any of the next-gen systems yet, but I'm saving for the 360. I admit, I'm a fan of Halo and Gears of War seems interesting, and there are so many more games that catch my eye for the 360 than any other console. One word; Portal.

I'd say Microsoft has a strong position overall. It's got the majority of the PC market, and the Xbox 360 is proving popular, and Xbox live is pulling in the profits.
I think Nintendo gets my vote because the last President was possibly -the- most evil human being on the planet, if not Satan himself Tongue
i agree with Natalie on the other consoles having more adult games therefore being in higher demand but the wii has several adult games such as

-red steel
-resident evil: the umbrella chronicles
-godfather blackhand edition
-metroid prime 3: Corruption
-Mortal Kombat
and several others

but the thing is Nintendo also has lots of games for all ages from about 3-60
im saying that because people over the age of 60 might not find video games very appealing

and plus Microsoft and Sony are just making mickey takes of nintendo characters.

i also agree that microsoft and sony make great games but what it makes in that, it lacks in the actual gameplay well as the wii takes gameplay to a new level.

but i do like GTA, Halo and gears of war.

I'll echo your sentiments. I have a Wii, and now wish I bought a PS3 or XBox 360 when I had the money. Almost all the games I have any interest in are released on these consoles, not on Wii. Of course, both the PS3 and 360 can probably run circles around Wii when it comes to performance, and not all games fit the wiimote, so I can see the reasoning, but I still lament the lack of good games for my console...

It seems I haven't been up-to-date since the PS1. My family bought a PS2 just when it was about to be phased out, and now I have the console for which the least interesting, new games seems to be released.

That said, I really don't think Zelda: TP looks like it was targeted at 5 - 8-year-olds.

I strongly prefer Nintendo and I'm very loyal to them, but I do enjoy my PS2 and XBOX as well. I refuse to pay the current prices for PS3 and XBOX 360, though from what I've seen, they are great.

I think the Wii is more revolutionary than PS3 and XBOX 360, because they completely changed the WAY that you play the games. At some point the controllers are going to have 100 buttons and I'm tired of pressing buttons all day. It's really fun to sit down with my Wiimote and Nunchuk controller, sit however I want on the couch--I can have my hands as far apart as I want when playing MySims for instance--and just totally chill out and enjoy. I can stand up and box, or play golf, or tennis, or whatever... It's physically active so it gets me off my butt for a while! Then there's all the channels (Internet, News, Check Mii Out, Wii Shop Channel, etc.)...

Nintendo's games are more kid-oriented because they are made in Japan which is immersed in that "cute" girly kiddie culture. But most of the games that are listed as adult games are bloody and violent. I'm a big horror movie/zombie fan so I'm the last person who will hate on gore--but I don't get why games for adults have to be violent in order for them to be entertaining to most people. When I sit down to play a video game I want to escape the violence that I see in the world, not indulge in more of it. (But then why do I love to indulge in my horror movies so much? LOL)

Just my thoughts! Smile Don't anybody yell at me for loving Nintendo so much! :::ducks out of the way quickly:::

haha Smile

There's Nintendo's ex President ;p
Either Ubisoft, or Midway is my choice.
I would say Blizzard Entertainment is the best company in PC gaming, especially when It comes to balanced game play and keeping their fans. "World Of Warcraft" has became there most popular game, and has been keeping its popularity (and its money, lol). The same with "Starcraft" and "Starcraft:Brood War". Anyone who played starcraft when it came out in 1998 is most likely still playing it now, or they have been replaced already with another gamer.

The thing I really like about blizzard, is that they are getting Starcraft players to give input on the making of Starcraft 2. Blizzard staff makes an FAQ, made up by questions from starcraft players, each month so that the fans know whats up with the making of the game. And if Starcraft fans spot a problem with anything, they can count on Blizzard Entertainment to try to fix it.

Starcraft rocks!
