me too.
And chess,or similar stuff.
I used to play a lot of adventure-games back in the days.
I beat Jet Grind Radio today. I had no idea that the game was so short.
Oh well, it was still worth it.
Drrt drrt drrt drrt, drrt drrt drrt
such depressing medieval-esque music in that game.
Anyone here take a while to finish a single-player game?
It's never a race to the finish line for me, with any game. I like to soak in all the details and finish most of the unnecessary objectives. I guess I like an immersive experience. So it takes me a while whereas most "gamers" would breeze through in 10 hours or so.
Currently playing Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis, and it looks like it's going to be a tough one (will need the walkthrough a LOT.)
Blockout (3D Tetris) and Raptor, Call of the Shadows (I like ye olde DOS games)

A spelling game with a range of different skill levels. Sounds dull but it's quite addicting. For each word you get right, the sponsors donate 20 grains of rice through the UN World Food Program to help end hunger.
yeah, I like to take my time and appreciate the details of the levels and the game. you can pick up a lot of backstory that way

For example I probably took 100 hours or so to see almost everything in Morrowind. That's what I mean. Familiar?
oh god yes. I'm still playing morrowind after oooh...two, three years?
do you have it on the PC?
if you, I recommend the Ultimate Galleon and Morrowind Comes Alive mods. Comes Alive puts in an additional 1000 or so NPC's: Trader caravans, bandits, just..extras.
I have it on the PC but I don't usually bother with mods or extras, for some reason.. Anyhow, 100+ hours is a lot to spend on a single player game, in the first place
Didn't help my worsening myopia, I'll tell you that much
I play Sudoku. Not online, there are three puzzles a day in the local news paper. That's enough.
Except of this I try to play a father and husband role as good as I can.
I know its an old game but - Rachet and Clank 3 (I've played and finished 1 and 2), very good game in my opinion.
sam and max hit the road
