So the big thing in my college Biology class lately is cloning to solve the issue of endangered species. Of course the major issue with cloning is the fact that when the animal is born it's going to genetically be the same age as the mother or the animal it's a clone of.
I'm sure you all remember Dolly the sheep who died 3yrs after she was born. However, genetically she was the same age as her mother (also the one who was cloned) who was 7 at the time. They both died at the genetic age of 10.
They've done it with sheep, African wild cats, and monkeys, maybe more.
I personally haven't formed a set opinion on cloning for animals or humans, but I find myself wondering anyways, what does the rest of the population think?
