In other news, study shows that decreasing number of pirates causes global warming:
It looks to me that what this study showed is thast absence of EM signals maybe-kinda-sorta caused more excretion of chemicals that don't have naything to do with autism. Um, thanks Australasian Journal of Clinical Environmental Medicine
I didn't see my post, I guess they need to take time to review it before posting. What I said though, is that making a correlation between Wi-Fi and Autism, is no different than saying if a child likes banannas they'll turn into a monkey. I also said, well you can't say curbies don't have imagination.
Wow, all those symptoms of electropollution, are just vague enough to hold electropollution responsible for anything.

The latest in a long line of silly or outright stupid ideas....
Some of the comments left on the article could use rebuttal as well.
You just showed your ignorance. Likewise to the poster who is claiming parents of autistic children are all drug users.
Here are two forums for those of you who wish to get involved in abolishing the electropollution that is harming our children:

So I suppose that it was Telegraph that 'gave' my grandad autism?
oh, I'm afraid that the shields will be quite operational, when your friends arrive...
I can do a scarily good impression of that ;p
along with "You and your pitiful little band!"
?????
You can't be allergic to radiation
I think there's a correlation between french fries and obesity.
It's natural for parents of autistic children to be looking for answers, but with all these findings indicating various causes, many getting summarily debunked, it's hard to feel too confident in the findings of this latest one without some further backing. The only fact we know is that the exact cause of autism is still unknown.
This paragraph just made me laugh. You can say any ridiculous thing about Autism and people will buy into it. Perhaps if people were less hasty, fewer of the things they publish would turn out to be complete, utter garbage.
Trapping metals and isolating them in brain cells? Mark and David Geyer, what do YOU guys think?
Even without the accent I don't understand you sometimes...
Well you must be mildly cretinous then ;p
I won't say the context because this sounds funnier out of context:
We have no idea what this is doing to us. But there is a possibility it may be connected to the rise of autism
Oops, I read this thread title as Study claims SciFi/autism link.
no link autism is genetic plain as that
Still it makes one wonder what exactly causes the "autistic mutation"

I don't believe there is any such animal.
it is simply an example of genetic variance-shows the genepool is still ealthy and variable.
Hey, pikajedi4 - your old account is sneakily trying to get up to 1000! It is no longer a nice, neat, 969!
Mmm... fish and chippies... yummy...

Now I want some.
