The latest in a long line of silly or outright stupid ideas....
Some of the comments left on the article could use rebuttal as well.
I'm still, basically, wondering what this Wi-fi stands for. I've heard alot about people who are allergic to electricity and electro magnetism and micro waves and stuff and go into hiding way out in the sticks... That web site might as well be the creation of just 1 moron.
Ooh! This is like the funny one a few months ago about the correlation between french fries and autism!

Though, on the plus side that one could at least have good side effects like less obesity... this one would just lower my chances at a good signal. Sad

Wink
Even without the accent I don't understand you sometimes...

Lee says:
Why doesn't anyone find out if these parents were drug users in the past? The use of designer drugs and cocaine, etc. must linger in the body of the user and cause ill effects, yet no one wants to talk about this. Just find sometime that they can SUE over, rather than look inward.

My father is a former heavy smoker, and his father was a smoker.  My mother's father was a longtime smoker.  Still, I don't think there is any link established between any of these things, and autism.

If so, I hadn't heard of it....  Anyone?

Are you serious about that (the bolded print) ?

Or was that sarcasm?

You can say any ridiculous thing about Autism and people will buy into it.

Ooh, I'd be careful about those words... Haven't you heard that saying the word "ridiculous" too often can cause autism?

No sarcasm! The medical community in Sweden take this seriously but I don't think there are any scientific proof for those kind of "allergies", although the problem is very real to the affected people. It's quite a common issue of debate with documentaries and all that. Several communities in Sweden are setting up areas that are free from all that stuff. Might be a multitude of other causes other than "radiation and micro waves". The future will tell...

You just showed your ignorance. Likewise to the poster who is claiming parents of autistic children are all drug users.

Here are two forums for those of you who wish to get involved in abolishing the electropollution that is harming our children:

Okay, then.  I see that was your first post.  Normally, I'd say welcome, but you were hostile in it so I'll pass.  Be sure to check out the photo thread in the Time Out forum.  We're all waiting to see a picture of you in your tinfoil hat and Faraday cage suit.

People have been hanging around much stronger sources of radio waves for decades.  So then, why aren't all disk jockeys drooling and slamming their heads into their consoles?

Actually, there's a Twilight Zone episode about exactly that.  (episode title: "A Thing About Machines", http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Thing_About_Machines )

it is simply an example of genetic variance-shows the genepool is still ealthy and variable.
LOL. Wow.
