Hello. I can't stay long on this website, so this will be short. I live in Perris, Ca. which is 16 miles north of Murrieta and about 15 miles south east of central Riverside.  I have not worked since March 2007.  I have not had a car since 2003 due to a car accident.  I was taking my mom's car to work in 2004-2006.  In September 2006 I was getting a carpool to work. But now that I'm not working at that job of course I'm not carpooling.

I need to find a new job-and I don't want to work as a receptionist or something with a lot of people. I also don't want to work as a cashier or something is fast food.  I don't do well working with the public and I don't do well with just "factory work."   I did factory work for 4 years. I have 14 years of work experience.

I find that I love working on computers best and I'm not just talking about silly simple data entry. That does not pay enough.

If you know of ANY car pool down to Murrieta or Temecula AND if you know of someone that lives in the city of Perris that works in Murrieta-please let me know!  My email is the same as my handle. Yahoo email.

I don't really care for taking buses and to tell the truth-I've never been on a bus by myself. I'd much rather drive-since I can go straight to work by myself, but since my mom's car has no worked since Sep 2006, I have to get a car pool.

Now, I need to find a job. If you don't mind hiring an aspie, you won't be disappointed. I am honest and on time. I can work 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm.   Thank you all.
I'm not sure how many employers post here. You might want to try posting this on your local CraigsList instead.
Contact your local Walgreen's (if there is one) immediately and apply for a job in the back office or something. Walgreen's has made a commitment to hire the autistic- a certain percentage of its workforce nationwide I think and particularly at one distribution center here in SC. One of the corporate bigwigs has a son who is HFA I think, hence their policy change.

If you are willing to re-locate I feel sure you could get a good job with Walgreen's in time also. This new commitment is on their website for you to read/get inspired by. Good luck!
Wow. That's really exciting about Walgreen's!

(Sarah leaves AFF to look up their site...)
