They were supposed to be (sort of) good in AC, weren't they? Or at least they collaborated with the good guys.

I like hearing real insturemental renditions of FF7 songs, though.

Far as i'm aware "Violator" is the official new look Shinra theme.

They were still working to help rebuild Shinra, imo they merely united to fight a common foe, much like the USSR and the allies in WW2
