Yes, I know there have been other threads on this game in this forum. I only joined this site a week or so ago. For those who aren't interested in what I did with this game, my ending question is "does anyone know if/when there is going to be a Elder Scrolls 5?
OK, so I tried to wait until the price for Oblivion came down, but it didn't work and I finally broke down and got it, the "Knights of the Nine", and "Shivering Isles" expansions. All together about $110 for the PC versions, then downloaded the "female eye candy" patch from File Planet. While I've been here at home taking care of my former girlfriend while she fights her breast cancer (she had moved out, then got diagnosed, lost her job and didn't have anywhere to stay, so I took her back in during her treatment, now she is staying with family) I've been hammering away at this game. For four/five months solid I've gone through this thing running through first the main quest, then the Daedric quests, The Arena, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, Fighters Guild, and the Mages Guild in that order with the side quests intersperced throughout (all 45 of them that I've found). Been through this pattern at least 6 or 7 times and have started to get completely board with it, usually peaking out at 53rd or 54th level. Weapon: Goldbrand
Shield: Escutcheon of Chorrol
Helm: Helmet of the Flood (water breathing)
Cuirass: Cuirass of the Undefeated (greater health)
Greaves: Don't remember the name, the one that grants greater Endurance
Boots: Boots of the Thrall (+105 weight capacity)
And after I've gotten to 100 on most attributes will allow myself to become a vampire.
It's been a good game which wasn't a surprise to me as I still have copies of Daggerfall and Morrowind. Does anyone know if/when there is going to be an "Elder Scrolls 5"?
