How can i stop them?
They are calling from a hidden number, and its all creepySad
Untill now I have found the beast way is to just hang up.
I have not called the cops...

Perhaps you could ask your phone company to bar any calls made from a 'hidden number'; the caller would then just get an automated message...

"this person isn't excepting calls from a withheld number"

Then they'd either have to stop ringing or 'unhide' their number.
The calls are mostly from sales companies.

If you are in england you can register with the telephone preference service then after a few months they should mostly stop. You can do online http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/
Once you are registered sales people are not allowed to call you. I'm sure other countries have something similar.

It's bliss when it stops

When my twins were babies, one used to LOVE babbling down the phone at people. So, whenever telemarketers rang I'd just say "hold on a sec" and give him the phone. Smile

However, what Emmy is reporting is illegal and sinister. Emmy, you really should involve the police. It will make it easier for the caller to be arrested if the police have your information (especially if you are not the only one being targetted).

Hehe...I bet the kids voice those shut those salesmen upWink
Thank you for your advice!
They havnt called for a few days nowSmile
Emmy, I don't know where you live, but in the US that is considered an obsene cell and I think there are still laws against that. The police may not be able to do much if you don't know who's doing it. but you should talk to the phone company about tracing the calls, getting a new phone number and having it unlisted, or if they can help in some way. This has happened to me and I hate it. Jerks.

Then the police traced the phonecalls, but Im not sure they will in this case, after all, there were no threats...
But I will contact the phonecompany though.

Buggery aside {see British definition}

Lists of private numbers are sold to telemarketing companies that block their number on all outgoing calls. As we know, they call, and call, and call, and never leave a message.

The best course of action is to either get on the official U.S. no call list which can be done for free, or to ask to speak to a supervisor and tell them that your estate has had it's number removed for security reasons.

It's not the truth, but it works.
