Instead of trying to resusciate something old I decided to make a new thread. And here it is!!!

It's the "stable version, release 7.0 (2007-11-03)..."

My new Aspie Score is 186 of 200. I sum up this higher score to being much more confident about my Aspieness than just 9 months ago, or so, as I hardly remember that ancient time when I first set eyes upon the Aspie Quiz.

This is - hopefully! - the link... http://www.rdnos.net
eEhum? Where did I get that "n" from? It should be http://www.rdos.net
Here's what I got when I first took the test, about 10 months ago:

Your Aspie score: 162
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 39

Let's see if anything changes when I take it again.

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

I feel that this test has much more loaded questions than the occupational test. For example, if someone is feeling different, that person is more likely to answer the social avoidant, or perhaps the odd posture/ gait questions in the affirmative.

Anyone aware of aspie criteria would be predisposed to answer the questions so as to qualify themselves as either an aspie, or not one.

Which "occupational test" is that?

Your Aspie score: 136 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 66 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Both component scores are down a few points.  The last version I took before this was version 2, on which I got AS: 139, NT: 68.  That's still consistent with the range I usually score in.  Also, this time, it seemed generally less obvious how each question would influence the results.

Has anyone heard on how the effort toward accuracy is going?

Not to knock your quiz, or rather, Newsweek for putting it out.

1) However, it is once again full of questions involving your desired level of sociability which should skew the results away from us selecting Aspie characteristics since many of us desire to be sociable.

2) This test lays out the criteria for us to select ourselves as Aspies. The social/ occupational test was a little less direct about the questions so that the test taker could not presuppose the desired intent of the test questions.

What was the desired intent of the test questions, in that case?

I think my higher score boils down to the fact that I've a lot more examples to draw on in the answering process than just a few months ago.

What does hunting mean? I don't like to go hunting.

I do like playing hunting games on my computer, however.
OTTO Hunting, I thought it had something to do with how much one wants to attain a certain goal...
i took it earlier, and my scores are as followed.

Your Aspie score: 151 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 56 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

since i can't go back to the quiz, i can't post the chart. is there a way to go back to it or do you have to take it over again?
Your Aspie score: 126 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 88 of 200

I just took the Newsweek test I got a 45 on it (out of 50). I don't know how... If I had to rate my own Aspie-ness on a 0 - 50 scale, I would put it at about 35 - 40.

And the average score for women is 15.
I have an extremely low NT social score and I don't have a social phobia. I just find highly social situations extremely frustrating/uncomfortable, but it doesn't make me anxious (I have another phobia that does that).
I wish there were some samples from non-AS people so we could compare the two.
