Having been a former energy drink lover (although I quit due to the ridiculous price of most of them), I had always wanted to try Bawls Guarana Drink, although I couldn't find it at any supplier.

Just on a whim I found a computer store of all places that has an entire load of them now, along with Bawls Cherry Soda and Bawls Mints.  But I am interested in trying the original (it's in a unique, cobalt-blue bottle.)

Has anyone tried this?  How is the taste and the "buzz" ?  The bottle has a warning of "high levels of caffeine" so I imagine there should be some kick to it.

Versus other energy drinks, how does it compare?
From what i've heard it's basically just a fruity caffeine drink. Best supplier:

And computer stores will sell it because hackers and gamers live on caffeine.
i think all energry drinks taste like crap except for NOS, which comes in a cute blimpy bottle and has a like...peachy/mango taste. Other enery drinks, espeically red bull, taste like benedryl (you know that pink allergy medicine that tastes like sh*t).

And I seriously try every drink with an open mind, but everytime I was dissapointed, I dont even think NOS is that great but I can tolerate it.

I hear the fruity taste is actually from the natural Guarana berry they use to flavor the stuff with--is it true?

Yes, Guarana naturally tastes mildly lemony
I dont like those drinks because I might get epilepsy of them, but I think they taste good.
How come I might get epilepsy from those drinks but not from cofffee?
Energy drinks tend to contain high dose B vitamins and tons of different forms of glucose as well as just caffeine.

Do you think that might be why?

That's a lot of posts lined up here, Emmy!

You must be just as ADHD as I am, and I have ADHD pretty strongly.

*stupid stupid stupid stupid*

I missed the word "might" there - there's no way that you can develop epileppsy if you're already healthy simply from energy drinks.

I have had night-epilepsy-attacs(If I drink it in the evening I can get attacked in the night) for about 5 years now.

Then i'd blame the high-dose B vitamins or (more likely, but i'm not a doctor) the glucose metabolites.

I was recomanded b-vitamines by my earlier doc who moved not so long ago,to take a supply of b-vitamines and iron due to my neuropathy surrounding left scapula bone at sudden times without any fysical provocation.
