I carved pumpkins with my kids yesterday…here’s the mess.
Those are big seeds.
Oh, my pet ratties would love those pumpkin seeds. Smile
My pet ratties took some seeds very like those (actually rock melon seeds) to their new home on Saturday.

I miss them....Sad

Buth they are really happy! Smile
Quickduck -

Why did you include a horrible redback?

Nasty lethal beastie. We had one trying to build a nest in the kitchen..... Sad

But my son spotted it and now it is dead! Big Grin
It's not that bad here as far as I know, just some kids who blow up mail boxes.
In Ireland it is a wonderful evening. Everyone bakes and buys lots of sweets, fruit & crisps and makes popcorn. All the kids go out, the littlies with their parents or older siblings, all the houses are decorated and lit up. The farm kids get driven around to each other because of the distances involved, of course!

Im the towns and villages here are so many people out in the streets that vandalism is non-existent. Obviously, one person in each household (usually Granny or Grandad) stays in to distribute the goodies!

Here in Adelaide it is a dead loss. The houses are so far apart even in the suburbs that no-one seems to know anyone else, and going door-to-door would be exhausting. There may be private parties, but other than that it is hopeless.
I would go out with my friends, usually body-guarding the younger teenaged ones from chavs and the like scum, or if they are all busy, go out with my older friends, not trick or treating, but the chavs are out in force, so its a great time to mask up and go kicking shit out of chav NTs

It's great that you were able to find a good home for your rattiesSmile

When I was four, I was a spider queen. When I was 8, I was the planet Uranus (which I told people I was a mermaid at school, for some obvious reasons my dad had to point out at me).

This year, I am going to be Maxwell Smart, of the wonderfully witty show Get Smart. I have always been obsessed with espionage. I have my costume mostly worked out.
Oh I like it, Flardox.

I like it Smile
Oops, clicked the post button too fast.

Sadly I can't do anything this year, my tag means I have to be in at 6pm every night, it sucks, but I think next year, I'm thinking something involving stitched-up freshly removed pigskin from a butchers, or a mask involving a real pigs head perhaps.

Like leatherface's lil mutated cousin from Chernobyl.

I'd like to wish everyone a very happy Halloween!

*knock-knock* another 'trick or treater'. Smile

I think the scariest part of the door might have been the cat-flap......

Did you have your moggies trained to leap out and bite the ankles of those Guisers?
