I told someone today that someone in my family is beeing tested for HFA and she exlaimed:
"But autists are not active people who talks"...

...and maybe even "Revenge of the Nerds", though that could be stretching it. It's still the closest thing we've got to a political movie. *grins*

Personally, you can read my bio as to why I have abandoned "Asperger" and embraced "Autism," even though clinically I am in the Asperger camp.  Needless to say, I have now jettisoned both for the sake of "Spectrum."  I like spectrum's, rainbows, et al. "Spectrum" can include Autism, Asperger, and Neuro-typicals who move in to our camp, embracing our principles of freedom of expression and tolerance.  The last group may be key to survival.
