And you will surely see what I mean.  And how horribly depressing it is to know that you couldn't possibly be further away from the kind of NT charisma/skill exhibited by this man.

Sometimes my AS just really gets me down.  Sometimes Asperger is really torturous; most of us AS men unable to connect with even one woman, of any kind, and then to look at the furthest reaches of NT brilliance throughout recorded history is quite polarizing.  I recommend not thinking about the "Great NTs" due to a destructive effect on self-esteem.  Wanting things you can never have is destructive.
Bah i've been told I have a lot of presence/charisma ;p

But then, I am a freak among freaks ;p

You don't want to be like Casanova, surely?

Aside from being a charmer, he was a manipulative *** who used the women he seduced, and who wound up exiled from just about every country in Europe. I'd rather have an ounce of integrity, myself!

He may not have been a very moral human being, but he sure as hell was a Great NT.  A dashing mix of prodigious intelligence, social manipulation, and charisma who became well known almost exclusively on the strength of these qualities.

Ummm.....Be despised by European society or a very successful lover and sought out by lovely women everywhere

OR

Be generally well regarded and only a few lovers in your life

Hmmmmm......OK call me shallow. LOL

I would also prefer the first one, kinda...  Despised by European society?  I don't think that mattered to him much.  He was NT.  That only fed his ego.

Mother Theresa surely was a good person, but you wouldn't very well bang her all night long, would you? xD

I do too Emmy but...............Ross Lumbus or Cassonova...........I think I could trade my morality for a bit of his success with women. LOL

The illusion of success.

Short term and shallow, and based primarily on bad chat up lines (let's face it.)

In the modern day and age, someone like Casanova would really just piss women off.

Possibly. But even in those days, many of his relationships were insubstantial and shallow. And his attitude to women was disgusting. I for one have no desire to be so objectified.

I agree, but on the topic of objectification... Being a heterosexual male, I can't lie that I find some of the softer forms of pornography to be stimulating.  Some of it in the "erotica" class... mostly harmless.

As a shy Aspie who doesn't have the social skills to attract/meet women, one needs to have some outlet for natural desires.

Okay "Batou," I just caught you being your incredibly pompous, self-righteous self in another thread (in addition to this one), and I have to wonder now how long it will take before you're "cast out"... so to speak.
I certainly don't think Casanova is to be emulated - envied perhaps but more pitied for his shallowness.
Hm, it would be interesting to see a head-to-head between this guy and GuessWho.

Wicked! Cool

Their posting style is very similar, albeit Batou is a bit more direct and straightforward with his offensivieness.

And seems somewhat more intelligent.
