Fear of flying, OCD, al this is secondary to Kubrick's filmmaking. It would be wrong to mistake a symptom of genius for the genius itself. Since Einstein was so revered in his time, nowadays college kids have his likeness as a poster on their walls. Do they hope to gain his powers of thought via some osmotic process?
