I guess I'll have to talk with Gareth.
Wow, this could be a major problem.
Yeah I've noticed this since APD; this years was by far smaller than last years.
I talked to Gareth at the chat and he says the registrations are closed due to spammers, and that he will redo the forum soon which will hopefully fix alot of problems.
I was thinking about making a new user, like:

"The Telegraphist"

or...

"-> THE ENEMY <-"
Gareth and Amy don't want more droopy incidents, so I guess people would have to register.

Annoying posts such as "ATOMICPHSYCO" repeated spamm like, is one good reason amung others. (I think) I never heard about what happened with this Droppy person, though. Not that I gotta know either. Shy 'sigh'

If anyone wants their username changed DO NOT create a new account - PM and ask for it to be changed. New account registrations are open again now but new users will be carefully monitored for abuse.
So what's with this 20 post per day limit? Not very fair on people who aren't good verbally in real life but who are much more fluent in the written word.
Maybe you could try the chat?

You're really meant to have the chatroom window just hanging around while you might do other things at the computer, as it isn't chat all the time.
New member!
But I get too confused with chat because most of the people have different names to what is on the forum so than I don't know who I'm talking to. Also, I believe some people only appear on chat and not on the forums so again, I can't easily follow what's going on.

Much of the time I'm online, hardly anybody else would be so I'd be waiting for ages and ages to have much of a conversation, plus I can't have chat and the forums open at the same time because my computer won't let me.

Some threads such as the game threads are meant to have a fast turnover of replies and as such, those replies are NOT spam!
You should have two browser windows up at the same time, one for the chatroom and one for the internet browser. You can also download free IRC chat clients.
But my computer won't let me do that because when I open up the second window, the first one disappears. I have the same trouble with Photobucket and the forum threads. I have to go out of one to get into the other and it becomes too much trouble most of the time. Sad
I do have Firefox but a fairly old machine and I don't understand how to set it up with Chatzilla (for all I know, I might already have it) but this still doesn't solve the issue of how I get confused by the difference in names between people on the forums and people on chat.
