The films chronicling the life, death and deeds of Freddy K. & Jason V. have one drawback. The 2 are unstoppable, essentially unkillable monsters. I realized this after watching the one in which Freddy & Jason share the screen.
These plotlines are unresolvable if the villains can't be killed. And these well-worn franchises can't simply lurch on further into the 21st century. Maybe one of the teenage survivors should somehow become a dream-killer. A successor-of-sorts.
Did anyone see CANDYMAN? Scared the crap out of me. Such beautiful choir & piano music as the score. Great story. Unbelievable amount of gore. The visuals are truly awful but kind of beautiful in their own way. If Candyman was destroyed in the 1st film, how did he reappear for the sequel?
