Well, I personally only listen to their four first albums and a certain song from their "sellout" album.
And what exactly is so horrible with Metallica?
Ok, the band has existed roughly 13 years too long, but I love their old albums.
I really hate Varg Vikernes.
Do you know b.t.w. that that title means "Before the light takes us" in Norwegian?

Anyone here system of a down fans?
I think some of their songs are very relateable.

Absolutely. And I'm sure Daron Malakian is an Aspie.

Part of this song are like an aspie and autie theme song to me

After All by David Bowie

"Man is an obstacle, sad as the clown, Oh by jingo
So hold on to nothing, and he won't let you down, Oh by jingo
Some people are marching together and some on their own
Quite alone
Others are running, the smaller ones crawl
But some sit in silence, they're just older children
That's all, after all "

The way he sings is it is what really makes it meaningful. Sounds like part of our struggle.

Oh, and the Smiths-"How Soon is Now" is another great aspie theme song. Is Morrissey one of us? Surely...

I 've seen Morrissey in concert on tv and he was stimming on stage, so yes, he's an Aspie!

"Bakkar" means hills while "berg" means mountains. It's a kind of unofficial national anthem in Norway.
In Norway BM is seen as much of a joke, much thanks to dimwits like Varg Vikernes and "Frost" another "BM killer". There are comedians and comic strips rediculing BM musicians and fans.

Black Metal is an extreme form of heavy metal, with very distorted guitar, fast drumming and screamed vocals. To most people it just sounds like noise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_metal is a good resource for information.

Rubbish.

Many are offended by the Rubinesque "eavy metal", and with good reason. It is a product of when the mainstream media tried to turn doom metal from a cry of protest from the disenfranchised into something cuddly and bedroom wallish.

Black Metal was started in the 1980s by a Swedish man partly in order to protest the attempted Christianisation of society around him. To this end, he wrote songs of battle, war, and religious mayhem, but also great epics describing black days in Middle Ages history, rearrangements of traditional Norwegian folk music, or even new compositions that sound exactly alike to Norwegian folk. One Rode To Asa Bay, Mellom Bakkar Og Berg (roughly: Between Mountains And Hills) and Vinterskugge all stand in defiance of generalistic nonsense like this.

Even the traditional forms of Black Metal, such as DarkThrone compositions, have it all over mainstream radio. It becomes obvious in fifteen seconds that those who write it can play their instruments.

Wasn't it Faust that killed that guy? I think Frost only has some minor convictions (possibly for Vandalism, I can't remember), which was why he couldn't tour America.

Faust, of cause. I tend to mix that up. He got out after only about 8 years in jail. He should have stayed there for the rest of his life.

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!
