Song by The Doors - has the line 'when you're strange...'
That song is called "People are Strange" and it is one of my favourite songs.

Eugh,I can't stand Opera IX. And yeah,Varg is an idiot, but he also produced some of the most amazing BM (and music) ever, IMO. I guess some Ildjarn stuff would be suitable too, and I get quite an AS/Autie vibe from Velvet Cacoon for some reason, if anyone knows them.

Anyone here system of a down fans?
I think some of their songs are very relateable.

Yeah, I get a bit of aspie vibe from Graham Coxon.
Not sure about the other two, as I tend to avoid the mainstream music press.

Mainstream Music Press=NME, Smash Hits etc., anything you can easily find in newsagents (at least in the UK)
I know about Graham Coxon because I used to be (and still am, but not as much as I once was) a huge Blur fan, and he covered one of my favourite bands (Mission of Burma), which got me interested in his solo work.
Black Metal is an extreme form of heavy metal, with very distorted guitar, fast drumming and screamed vocals. To most people it just sounds like noise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_metal is a good resource for information.
Hope that answers your questions, any more: fire away!

Oh, and the Smiths-"How Soon is Now" is another great aspie theme song. Is Morrissey one of us? Surely...

How about "I'm In With The Out Crowd" by The Queers or "Let Me Go Home" - Alan Parsons Project?

After "Under the Sign of the Black Mark", Bathory ceased to be a Black Metal band (according to Quorthon), and Isengard is folk/BM. Obviously there are a LOT of different routes the evolution of BM has taken, but in its base form, it was essentially raw and satanic. Even today, I think this could apply to the majority of bands (especially on the underground).

And I wasn't claiming BM was "just noise", but that is how the average fan of pop or rock would see it. Also, i'd have to say Venom invented BM, and they were a direct catalyst for Bathory (although Quorthon later denied this, in the early Slayer Mag interviews he cites Venom as a major influence and "Countess Bathory" as the source of the name.) as well as Mayhem, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Sarcofago etc.

Yeah, concerts can sometimes be incredibly difficult places for aspies. Fortunately for me, I find certain loud noise (such as a band playing) very soothing.
I've been to loads of gigs and I've never had any problems like that. I love seeing live music.
Aspie theme song? You Can't Bring Me Down by Suicidal Tendencies.

You should go to a live show. It's lots of fun. As for live recordings, obviously, most bootlegs sound crap. But if you buy an official live album or DVD, it's much better.
Judas Priest's Unleashed In The East is the best live album ever made.

The only song that really reminds me of Asperger's is Epiphany by Staind. But it isn't exactly positive or upbeat. Not good anthem material by any means.
Your words to me just a whisper
Your face is so unclear
I try to pay attention
Your words just disappear
'Cause it's always raining in my head
Forget all the things I should have said
So I speak to you in riddles
'Cause my words get in my way
I smoke the whole thing to my head
And feel it wash away
'Cause i can't take anymore of this
I wanna come apart
And dig myself a little hole
Inside your precious heart
Cause it's always raining in my head
Forget all the things I should have said
I am nothing more than
A little boy inside
That cries out for attention
Yet I always try to hide
'Cause I talk to you like children
Though I don't know how I feel
But I know I'll do the right thing
If the right thing isn't feel
Cause it's always raining in my head
Forget all the things I should have said
Your words to me just a whisper
Your face is so unclear
I try to pay attention
Your words just disappear
