I considered having therapy once, early 2007 I had a VERY bad patch.

It's okay if you can get a good therapist but it's very hit and miss and getting a bad one (or even one whose philosophy isn't compatible with yours) can make the problems even worse. It's a gamble and it just depends if you feel it is worthwhile and are able to afford it too.

Therapists? Taxi drivers are cheaper!
