Karla is not meant to be like any aspies anybody knows. Are any of the teachers at that school like anyone knows? Such as like the teacher who punches the headmaster full on the mouth, and who is having an affair with one of the pupils. She got married to another pupil.
I just meant she was a bit of a stereotype, but then again, Waterloo road has a bit of a track record with them. Gay student who likes dancing, anybody?
I'm not bothered about it though. She's just a charcter at the end of the day.
the program is supposed to be about a school in bad condition and the teacher that calls her a fruit loop and compares her to rain man isn't a teacher but the person in charge of pastoral care. shes portrayed as a bad uncaring woman who is chavvy and makes feel sorry for the girl because the woman is so nasty.
the teachers go on strike because she attacked the teacher but none of the teachers were told she was violent and she is supposed to have a support teacher to keep her calm and help her and so the teachers refuse to work until the head employs someone because they think the attack was unprovoked. but the head removes parts of her file that says she needs one so he can keep the money from the government that the school was given for having the aspie so he can spend it on other things. the heads girlfriend works there, i'm not sure if shes a teacher or just a helper but she is nice and understanding and stands up for the aspie and asks her to eat lunch with her so she is not alone.
i didn't watch the last series but i think i will watch this one, the children in the school are rarther amusing like the 16yr olds that get married.
