Last weekend, my family visited me in Wichita Falls, and one of the things we did was go hiking at the Wichita Mountains, just north of Lawton, Oklahoma.

We drove/hiked to the top of Mt. Scott, at 2500 feet above sea level.  The Wichita Mountain range is only 8-10 miles long.  The nearest significant mountain range to me is the Ozarks, on the border between Arkansas and Missouri.

I found a new activity.

Are you going to join a hiking club?

I love hiking too, I went up Haystacks not long ago:

I just never thought a place like that existed--in Oklahoma.

Awesome! I have always loved hiking.
Now I have something to do on weekends, if I am not too busy with other things.
