How would you describe what happens during a salvation in a religious seremony, what happens really?
Have you ever been praid for,and what happend then?
Please clarify the noun.  What is a salvation?  You seem to refer to an event during a religious ceremony.

I am aware of no such ceremony in the Baptist, Lutheran, or Methodist churches and possibly in the Catholic church too.

Salvation is however a state of being.  Protestant churches teach that if your faith is that you are saved and your faith makes you try to live saved, you are saved beyond any doubt whatsoever.  It is theoretically possible to lose your salvation by giving up on the religion for good, I am not sure.  But generally as long as you are trying, you're still saved no matter how bad you mess up.

Sometimes prayer works.  Prayers for me to find a partner have not worked, but....

I know a bunch of us prayed for a woman, Lucia, before she had her firstborn, a daughter (I'm sure lots of women have fear about labor and delivery but if they are afraid they being it up in company of trusted people).  She only had an hour long labor.  When I heard that I asked, how many people prayed for her?
On the other hand, my best friend reminds me sometimes prayer is intended to make you accept what God's will is.

Jesus prayed to His Father before He was crucified, that if crucifixion could be avoided, that would come to pass, but that the Will of His Father be done.  Sweating drops of blood (no disrespect here).  The Will of the Father was done.

If you pray for something in Jesus name, it is said, it will come to pass (you may need to accept His will though).

So..... if you pray for a mate the answer could be
1. Yes, now, or imminently
2. Yes, but later, you aren't ready (possible if you wouldn't accept her yet)
3. Yes, but later, she isn't ready (possible if she wouldn't accept you yet either)
4. No
5. No, and join a monastery
6. No, and please stop asking

So... the same answers you would get if you prayed to a fence post.

All hail the great god Fencepost!

May he listen to all our prayers!

GuessWho, I'm sorry but if you think you are "saved" but really do evil things you might not stay that way.

Emmy, I will tell you what I can. I have been to evangelistic churches where they get guest speakers to tell their stories and how they turned to Jesus. Then they ask people who would like to dedicate their lives to Jesus to come up to the front to be blessed.

Thank you all for your answers.
Guess who:I did use the wrong word but I couldnt find the right one in the dicitonary and that was the closest I came*blushes*
Woman from Mars:That was very kind of you,but I could allways get better in my eniglish...
Max the bear:I would not recomand praying to this postBig Grin
Tenaciouscj:Thats the thing i was talking about!
TenaciousCJ: If your heart is right with Jesus, you would not delight in evil, and would try to avoid it.
Max: That's right.  We believe in God, not Santa Claus.
Emmy: Did you mean Religious ecstasy, a changed state of consciousness characterized by expanded spiritual awareness, visions or absolute euphoria (Wikipedia) or maybe Nirvana?  I've had rather few of those and they were very mild, but one on Christmas Day was some kind of sense that Jesus had heard my thoughts regarding a woman, and agreed, but at some unknown time.
