Thank you for that! Smile
Well how come i'm so bad then? Tongue
Personal choice, Ian!
Surely I am the great plague on the world =p as some people would have you believe..

But then, who says my business won't make the world into a wonderful, GLORIOUS place? Tongue

Ethel

I'm confused - the speech attributed to Tony Attwood uses "we" and "us" - is Attwood an Aspie himself?  I didn't know that.

Cool, though.  And not without precedent - my psychologist's an Aspie too.
Does anyone know exactly how Atwood came to be the recognized expert, and if he has any kind of an agenda that he works toward?
"PS- Ian, I don't think your as bad as you want to be..."

You don't know me, my cogs..my mechanism...my ether

:p
I'm sorry Ian, it was a poke of humor, that's all. I'm fiesty today.

garmon- I'm a big atwood fan. He's out of Australia and has really spent a lot of time reseaching and really, debunking a lot of the aspie myths... you can google him and find his website. He has an interesting bio about how he got intersted in Aspergers. He also wrote a paper about AS being a difference instead of a disorder, about changing the way we talk about Aspergers. I really thought it was amazing.
I know it's a poke of humor, if it wern't I wouldn't have responded in that manner Tongue hehe.

What do you think of me then, Sarah? ;] one would argue that business skills coupled with AS traits would be a blessing ;p
Business savvy+AS Genius=

Welcome!

Very interesting analogy.

Ethel

Thanks for setting me straight, John!  If it's possible to interpret something wrongly, trust me to do it!

No. The writing was not at all clear.

I think he said he has a few traits of Asperger's so he could be "borderline Aspie".

Thought it sounded like a quote! (Hence the reference at the bottom, I suppose.)

Hey that's really cool.
