What happens if in the life I lead I am hurt or killed? It would be better than if I went and hid from my life. That's the way it is with humans and it's an expectation they place on one another. Even the overprotective natured people must learn that if they truly shelter a person, in effect, they have already killed him.
A leader who hides when danger reveals itself is no leader at all. A leader who thinks himself irreplaceable and invaluable is a fool.
But we are not all leaders, so how does this apply to us and our chosen path? Because we know in our heart that we must live a life that is honest to our self. We must know that our way is the correct way, for ourselves at least, and if we ever do not believe this, then we must work hard to alter our course. At times it is hard to hold confidence that the chosen fork in the road is the right one.
It's time I find my road and follow it, cause right now I'm lost. Only then will I truly be content, even if I die; I will have followed the way that was meant for me. The way that I chose, not a road I follow out of blind trust in what is in store for me, not off the circumstances as I see them as good and bad, but because I wanted it. My only problem is finding it. I'm not an individual with motive to do what I wish, I don't understand what I wish, only know how to follow instructions. This is going to be a very hard road for me to find or to even follow. I will find many set backs and face many problems, and sometimes I will feel the frustration build up from my lack of ability to handle certain things, but I know I must if I'm ever to find happiness...
