Me, for example, where I live, the roof leaked, and eventually the ceiling leaked too.
April May of 2006 it needed attention. So early July, they moved my furniture around, cut a hole in the roof. August, replaced the wet insulation, patched up the drywall in the ceiling, even replaced the carpet that had gotten too wet.
But they didn't fix the roof, the source of the problem.
Not even the hurricane Katrina solution, a blue piece of plastic, to keep the water out.
So, July, August 2007, deja vu city, minus the carpet, because I got a 40 gallon mega plastic box with lid (water tight) and put it between the ceiling (they cut drywall away, but that is all so far) and the carpet.
Methinks if a judge ordered my rent put in escrow, they'd move their butt to fix the roof and the ceiling.
People who don't want to learn and people who lose their tempers quickly... I have to deal with both at work all the time, and it gets very exhausting.
Parents who spend 16 years wrecking a kid's life and then bring him to me and throw a fit if he's not "fixed" to their liking in three or four appointments.
I always want to tell them two things:
1) the problem isn't the kid, it's you, and
2) it took you 16 yeas to ruin his life. It may take me more than a month to fix it.
people who leave their napkins on the table at the fast food places. If they throw away the rest of their trash why in the hell won they just throw away their napkins?!?!?
What's even more annoying is when people leave all their trash on the table. It pisses me off SOOOOO much. It's so rude.
Or when a resturant is packed and there are people waiting for somewhere to sit down, and there are people who are finished eating and dont leave right away. It's like "hello, um you're done know, so um pack your shit and leave there are other customers waiting to sit down." Like this one family was there for over two hours...i was thinking "wtf leave already there is an extremly old couple in walkers just waiting to sit down."
when everyone thinks it's only me in my family that has something wrong with them. Um hello?! Just abou everything is hereditary/genetic is had to have come from somewhere!!! Mom and dad are like "you're the autistic one or the ADHD one, or the epileptic one." and then everyone else has problems that they arnt getting diagnosed with and it feels like shit.
Girls who wear big sunglasses and guys who wear their collars flipped up and their visers tipped to the side...wth...it looks so stupid.
Some person put up a Youtube video about how her autistic son was mercury poisoned, and referred to the autism "epidemic" as a "slaughter". I kindly wrote why I objected to this and found it offensive, and she made some unintelligible reply that essentially threatened to have me reported if I commented on one of her videos again. WTF?!? I used my diplomatic, "I know you just want the best for your kid..." language, WTF??
Fellow worker's who don't think and offer poor care.
Uh, let me see...
Thinking about crazy shit that embarasses me.
My parents giving me stuff to do. Like last night, when I dad was all like "Can you load the dishwasher and scrape the plates?" and I did it but I hated every minute of it. I had to handle knives; I hate knives.
The two-hour commute to-and-from the community college that I am currently going to and the town that I live in. It's only saving grace is that sometimes you get some very interesting people riding those buses.
My family calling me autistic.
Forgetting about my homework. Actually this is pretty new for me, before I rarely ever had this problem.
Noxious odors that sometimes come from the kitchen. What's worse is that all of the smells seep into my room upstairs, and it's poorly ventilated so it smells pretty bad for quite a while. I remember one time when I was living away for university my sister cooked some really rank fish and the goddamned smell seeped into my clothes; I smelled like that damn fish for at least two weeks.
Hearing about some horrible crime. I won't get into this.
Seeing big kids (ie. 2 or over) walking around shopping centres sucking dummies drives me spare. It makes them look as if they have an IQ of about 20, especially if they are dribbling around them.
What frustrates me is when there is a forum topic TITLE which i find upsetting and depressing each time my eyes fall upon it while scanning down the list of the day's topics. I never click on it.
Yet it seems like it will NEVER die. It keeps getting bumped up so it is on the front page in front of my face every day when I visit the site.
I wish it would just DIEEEEEEEEEE already and slip into oblivion.
There, I feel slightly better now.
What stupid things happening in your life really aggravate you?
I can make a list, and people are almost always in it. Hehehh
1: People who fight the same way as their opponent just like irrational children. They don't care or notice that they hyjack threads with their fighting, flameing and nonsence. It doesn't matter to them how irrelevant their dispute is to the thread. It's not possible for them to apologise, because irrational people don't do that.
2: I really, really hate trolls and bullies. They are such a pain to deal with. I am so sick of them I could kill them if they try hard enough.
3: People who are racist/prejuduced, and also people who tell me I don't go through it. It is very frustrating to calmly explain reality to a people like that. Sometimes I have to deal with them whether I like it or not.
'sigh'
4: People who call anyone with any mental difficulty "retarded". Thus displaying their ignorance in themselves and others.
5: People who use the word 'retard' or 'tard' to mean stupid, weak, inferior, ect.. How are they not frustrating to deal with?
6: The black screen of death that happens to me in World of Warcraft. (right now it's flat out not logging us in, period! grr!) Some players get mad at me for not replying, I get killed, the dungion group goes on without me, or something very annoying and beyond my control or choise. It has killed me many, many times. I'm so tired of it. The techs don't seem to get that it's on their end, not our computer causeing this. Everything else works on our computer, including Everquest and Furcadia. -.-*
7: The printer. Let's just say I despise my mother's printer. I have nicknamed it "the problem printer from hell", because it only messes up for me when we're alone together, and for no one else so far. When my mother uses it, it's perfectly behaved. It will throw such stupid errors. Such as, "out of paper" even though it's loaded with over 7 sheets of printing paper. Sometimes the paper gets stuck half way, which just frustrates me so bad and gets my temper really going. It will actauly run a pages of paper through it without printing sometimes then say "out of paper".
(I'm thinking about bashing it right now in fact. I can't do that sadly.
) Sometimes the ink thingie inside it doesn't want to work as it should. It even acted like it was out of ink, when it wasn't. Just thinking about all of it's errors annoys me! I would love to smash it! Gya! What sucks the most is that my relatives don't believe me. Like I mentioned, it only has a fit when I use it alone.

Silky, you could ask the moderator to lock that particular topic and then it will eventually disappear.
Pakrat, thank you so much for caring. (smile) However apparently other people want to keep using the thread. I'll just hope it doesn't last more than a couple months
I don't know if it is possible to deflect it onto a different topic to sidetrack the discussion.
They fixed the ceiling, now I get to clean up after them.
yeah, that is a bummer Emmy. Are you living with mom and/or dad? Do they make you feel like a kid?
