Did not read all of the discussion board. Yikes!!
The msn articles seemed very level headed to me.
It does not matter what evidence you show the "vaccine hysterics" they will not believe you.
My best friend has a severely autistic son and she is convinced that vaccines caused the autism. She is a graduate of Penn State and very bright, but nothing I say will persuade her.

Yes, I've seen people like that even locally. They have to find a reason their children are the way they are and they feel if they say it is genetically based that their genes will be seen as inferior.
I just threw a message onto the board;
To everyone who is complaining about this article - it is absolutely correct. There is NO link between vaccines and Autism. It has never been proved. It is accepted by the wider scientific community that the Autistic Spectrum is genetic in origin, and the sooner people accept that the better. The spectrum was around before vaccines.
And anyone who won't vaccinate is not looking after their child properly in my opinion. Vaccines have reduced sickness. We are a healthier world than we were before vaccines. And I am not part of the "herd" mentality before anyone accuses me of it. I've read up on this stuff, and I have developed my own opinion.
I am an Aspie BTW.
