A friend of mine I've known for a while made this video explaining everything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkhPQHnfh-0

I feel her anger; the police should've known better than to tackle that kid when their mom said that he had autism.
It's heartbreaking.

Words fail me. I'm in tears.
Um... I hate to say it, but it actually sounds like the police acted fairly reasonably, given their limited information - as long as what was on the youtube video is the whole story.

They saw someone attacking another person, and they restrained him. They may not have known anything about autism, or if they did, they may not have believed she had the situation under control.

Of course, if they punched him, or acted inappropriately in any other manner, that's a different story.
thats the problem with NT's they act on what they see instead of actually listening to get the full story absolute idiots

Nothing as doomed as people trying to do the right thing, eh?  It's all of us, flardox, NTs, NDs, and any that might exist outside of that dichotomy.

I hope that your friend and her bro are OK.

I found it heart rending & very upsetting to watch, I hope the whole family recovers from this awful event.

Of course that's exactly what you did, too, to reach your idiotic conclusion.

Keep us laughing, Flardox.

I knew those cops are evil NT's.  I knew those donut eaters can't get to a full story.
