I love that long coat - when I was in college, I had a huge black leather coat like that that went right down to the floor, leaving only about 10mm gap - I looked like Neo from The Matrix in it!!

Yes, great coat!  I used to have a similar one, though mine was purple and had fake black fur around the collar, it was very russian looking, I found it in a charity shop.

In the 70's I had a maxi coat that looked rather like that, but it was very maxi as I am only  5 feet tall.
I probably looked stupid, but THAT never bothered me

I have not made me up an opinion yet.
It takes time to get used to it.

Well actually....... I bought quite a few from Ebay last year, when this house is finally finished, I have these fantasies of swanning about in them, instead of being covered in paint & sawdust.
