Heh, this ones a Soviet Naval Coat, could be anything from the 1950s to the 1980s in age..I'm guessing it's later though, of course.
Very distinctive!  I love long coats but am too short and pudgy to wear one without looking silly. Tongue

Communist east germany outfits didn't look much different from those of earlier nazi-germany though.

That was probably not the right thing to say, not good with compliments (ofcourse it wasn't intended to be one!).

I still think the outfit looks cool though.

The German Democratic Republic (or DDR) has interested me for years, it was sort of a more advanced USSR...they had the most pervasive secret police to date apparently.
