All I ask..is that the local council start recycling plastic..bins always full of plastic milk bottles.
Alas my only interest in the Environment is that of "Sustainability" so that the Business world can continue to function efficiently.
You know turning it back on after turning it off uses more power than leaving it on
of course it's all reliative, that's only true if you like switch it off for a minute or less.
I wonder what money would be in a recycling corporation ;p or at least a recycling division..
quite a lot i'd wager.
Hire a staff, build facilities ;p
Cuz lets face it, where I live anyway, the local authorities recycling scheme is a load of CRAP.
The whole Council is run by people who don't know their Arse from their Elbow.

I leave mine at the gate in a container with other recyclables.
Our council quite a few years ago initiated a scheme and found themselves overwhelmed with a positive response. But they have adapted and are now coping with the amount of recyclable materials they collect.
Recycling is common practice here.
I'm surprised to hear it doesn't always happen in the States and Britain.
Oh it's a pain in the arse :p
Luckily for me at my local tip you can still buy stuff, It's a goldmine for old appliances which I collect =p as are Car Boot sales.

If you know what I mean.
Why, you can even make electrical energy out of landfill...BioGas it's called.
I haven't ironed anything for months because I just let clothes drip dry or buy clothes that don't need ironing.
Good start. I'm sure if others followed your example, they would be much healthier too and it would be better for the environment.
