I write fanfic too, but I haven't put it on the internet yet... Been planning on doing that for over a year I think.... But I think it's easier to write fanfiction, because you don't have to make up all the characters, that's already been done (I hate to make up characters, because I can't even think of a name mostly...
) It's also really nice to read stuff like that, and mostly really well-written.
I've had a few tries at it myself, but never went anywhere.
I might try again, though. I had a go at doing a Final Fantasy VII one and a Baldur's Gate one. They started off good, but I didn't get round to finishing them.
I would really like to go back into it so I can practise my writting skills (and my spelling).

Homer makes a pirated radio station in his basement and Don Imus comes to help (this idea came long before Imus's racial / discrimination comment)
One where Franky Munez returns as Lisa's crush "Phillonious".
Homer's Enemy's son (The return of Frank Grimes Jr.)
And an idea when Smither's falls in love with a woman but has to break up his strong relationship because of his love with Mr. Burns. LOL

I tried to write a fanfic once, but I found it difficult. I much prefer Origional Fiction, and novels. I like to be able to control everything, and everyone. I hate using other people's characters.
I am thinking of making fanfic anyway!

Sorry! It may well be something I've done - there seems to be something about that particular site's interface that I just can't 'get'. I've hung around there so much lately I should be a pro at it by now, but I still can't navigate properly and my stories are all dreadfully formatted. It's just me having a brain-fade, I'm sure.

I used to write a lot of Invader Zim stories (some sorta funny in a stupid 15 year old fantard kinda way, and some just godawfully stupid). Right now I'm working on a very long, very AU/fanon-heavy Sgt Frog one.
