Although you're obviously being sarcastic I of course refer to the film or george orwell's 1984, and of course, hideous being a word I use for cool on occasion ;p

Oh, if it was that Eurythmics 1984 song, I think it WAS pretty hideous and not in a good way. Wasn't up to the standard of most of their other songs.

I have a kick for a song right now wich is called Adagio for strings.
I dont know I like it so much but I cant stop listening to it.
I listen to it at you-tube.
I could send a link but I cant find the adress-line anymore,so that wont work.

There's a lot of versions of that song but I think someone must have released one recently (but not sure who)? Yes, it is nice.

I had never heard of the book or the movie, but after watching the movie trailer, it reminded me of the 1984 Apple Macintosh superbowl commercial.  So I looked it up on Wikipedia, and - lo and behold - the commercial was indeed based on the book.
